October Newsletter
This month’s article will be a continuation of the Goddess celebrations, including Navarati and Diwali. It is a very special and spiritually powerful time to “clean your house” and get a lot of spiritual work accomplished in a small amount of time. Of course, this means you need to prepare for this, and be ready to accept the blessings and answers to your prayers. In the article, I will include a meditation and ritual to help you prepare for this beautiful opportunity. To enhance this meditation for the nine days of Navarati, become vegetarian, or fast from sunrise to sunset each day, followed with a light vegetarian meal.
A dear friend and client for many years, who was in India with me as well, and experienced the power of the Mother , recently gifted me with a Durga statue. This statue has been the catalyst in creating a meditation that I have been dreaming of for a long time. It will be held in a special room in my house which will become the Ashram of the Mother. On Fridays, beginning October 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. Sedona time, we will begin with a puja ceremony before the meditation.
If you would like to attend, or if you’d like to add your name to the meditation circle, please email me.
I am creating a workshop which will balance the ancient feminine with the present feminine, called
“The Temple of the Living Goddess”. There will be two parts to this workshop, the first beginning on the 6th of February 2009 with the last evening being the 14th. That will be eight straight days of cleansing our bodies, minds and spirits, which will include Ayurvedic treatments, food, rituals and teachings of the Goddess.
More information will come, along with the price in the next newsletter. However, mark it on your calendars and email me if you are interested as space will be limited to twenty women.
