We are starting a new series called These Mysterious Spheres. We’ll cover what the planets mean, how they affect our bodies, and how we react at the time the planets’ energies are shining on Mother Earth.
This first article, January/February 2010, is about the energy of the Moon. The energy of the Moon is a feminine energy. It affects our emotions. Our emotions are one of the strongest feelings we experience in our bodies, and from our emotions, we create sickness, disease, and disasters on the Earth. Emotions create a lot of chaos and negative things if our emotions are not clean and pure.
This past full moon (we had two in the month of January) was about letting go, particularly the last full moon on January 30. This moon was about letting go of emotions that don’t serve us, letting go of things we have been carrying and which make us victims.
I have a personal story to share. It happened on Friday, January 29, the day the full moon was going to happen at 11:19 pm. We had just finished an incredible puja at The Temple of the Living Goddess. We hold pujas every Friday evening in my house. Because of the full moon, it was a very powerful night. As we left the puja room, we heard a loud noise coming from my bathroom. There is a shelf high above the base of the tub where a glass bottle had been resting undisturbed – there was no one near it to touch it or move it. As I walked to the bathroom, I saw that the glass cologne bottle had fallen into the tub without breaking. The label on the glass cologne bottle was “L'INSTANT MAGIC.”
To me, that was a message. It is time for our lives to go on instant magic. What this means is that if our emotions are clear, and we start feeling the truth of what we really deserve, and we want it with all of our hearts and stop praying for what we want to create -- instead of asking for what we want, if we start feeling that we already have it, then instant magic happens.
The problem is that we do not believe in this truth. We do not feel this truth. So we continue asking for the things that we want and we never get them.
So if we can go into our hearts and feel the prayer, then instant magic will happen. Then we create what we really, truly want.
And personally for me, I have believed this for a long time, but after this message, I now know that I have to live it.
