Mysterious Spheres for March 2010 - Neptune's Spiritual Aspirations

By Michelle Cook

The planet Neptune, in most astrological cultures, represents the Piscean Zodiacal Sign.  As Pisces is a water sign, you can see the immediate attraction of this planet, as it is specifically named after the Titan who ruled the ocean, Neptune.  Neptune, the planet, is about unreachable dreams and our desire to manifest them.  Spiritual aspirations, beyond our conscious control, lie within the folds of this planet’s watery depths.

If this ‘seems’ a bit like a feeling, something amorphous or difficult to pin down that is because it is exactly that.  When Neptune enters any area within your chart, it can play with the part of us that lies beyond the normal boundaries of the shores of personal experience, namely the unconscious.  Because the unconscious is most evident when we are caught unawares, you will also see action in the manifestations of your dream world, in your meditations, and in your subconscious communication.

‘Neptune, the God of the Seas,' symbolizes the dissolution of reality; for all Earth arises from the ocean and eventually to it returns.  Neptune is represented by the mists, which prevent us from seeing what is really “out there.”  Instead, we must rely on our own intuition to guide us through the hidden realms.  As the key planet for Pisces, representing the spiritual and the mystical side of life, it is about what we cannot see with our senses and our desire to lift the veil in our own time.  We search for a perfection that cannot be made manifest, because we have not accepted that to be ‘enlightened’ we must let go, give up, and let God or Goddess.

My dreams gave me the answer to Neptune's quest just last night.  When searching through the Akashic Records for the millionth time, I am fast-forwarded five million years into the future.  My personal Mantra of 'One Heart~One Love~One World' was no longer just a mantra.  We had become that.  I am one man, but I am all mankind in this one person.  My words, from present time, have become truth in the future, yet I find myself still questing, looking out, ever forward, into space.  Self-propelling myself toward enlightenment.  When in reality the only true way to reach the level of enlightenment that I, as Mankind, spiritually crave, I must truly let go of my humanity once and for all.  I understood that WE never accepted our Godhood, even after finding it at our own front door.  The answer we sought was always within.  This is the mystery of Neptune.
